Travel Thursdays on Empty Streets: Singapore

Small but with a lot to offer than most countries ten times it's size. That is what Singapore is like. Only one of the very few Asian countries that is considered to be A First World Country. With an amazing history that tells of terrible trials suffered by the people and how throughout the centuries they have strove to rebuild all that was lost and overcome all the impossibilities, one can definitely see that they truly deserve to be where they are now.

This is definitely a country made by its people for its people. Its culture is a mixture of both Eastern and Western culture and it is also because of this that one can really find a personal niche and feel right at home.

I have compiled a couple of video songs made for Singapore's National Day and It is the best way to show you what to expect not only of the place but also of the people that live in this beautifully developed place of Singapore.

Help end world hunger

Very nice post, whenever I read anything about Singapore, it always reminded me of what Lee Kuan Yew said during his visit in the Philippines. For him "Dicipline" is vital for a country to progress and "NOT" Democracy, which my country is crazy about... the rest, let history talks about it!

God Bless...

Wow Metz. You really are cracking great contents even more lately...

Hehe. I stayed in Singapore for some years... Really nice place, convenient and clean. Though, you can go around and see all its beauty in just a couple of days. That is why to get rid of boredom, a short trip to Johor Bahru is good. Or probably a weekend getaway in Bangkok, Phuket or Malaysia...
